Viadotto Jannello

The restoration and consolidation works on the Jannello Viaduct are part of the works to upgrade the Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway, renamed "A2 Autostrada del Mediterraneo". The infrastructure work is located at km 153+400, 2 km north of the Italia Viaduct, which was also restored with Kimia reinforcement products and systems. With its 597 m of development at more than 130 meters above the bottom of the Jannello ditch valley, it is one of the main viaducts on the entire route. The work included cortical restoration works on the piers and pulvini and structural consolidation with carbon fiber systems on piers 1, 2, 3 and 10, in the North and South directions.
