Kimitech 350

160 g/m2 glass fiber reinforcement mesh with anti-alkaline primer for reinforcement

Kimitech 350 is a fiberglass mesh with an anti-alkaline finish of ~ 160 g / m2, characterized by maintaining high strength even after aging. It is compliant and certified according to the requirements of ETAG004 for reinforcement mesh for external insulation systems.

Applications

Kimitech 350 is used for multiple non-structural interventions. Among them it is possible to include: final leveling of thermal insulators in external insulation systems in KIMITHERM certified system; reinforcement of Betonfix or Limepor mortars in the skim coating of plasters or structures; skim coating with thermal plasters; waterproofing with osmotic cementitious systems (Betonfix 300 mixed with Kimitech ELASTOFIX), elastic cementitious (Kimicover UNO and Kimicover DUO) and epoxy cement (Kimitech ECF, Kimitech ECA). Whatever the intended use, other layers of Kimitech 350 mesh must be surmounted by at least 10 cm between them.

Application

For the different kinds of intervention, read the technical specifications and the technical data sheets of the materials to be used in combination with Kimitech 350. In thermal insulation, after the application of Betonfix RS skim coat and before curing, lay Kimitech 350 reinforcement mesh, drowning it completely in the base layer, making a further coat with an American trowel. In the waterproofing of swimming pools to be tiled, Kimitech 350 is used as reinforcement of the osmotic mortar Betonfix 300 mixed with Kimitech ELASTOFIX. Whatever the intended use, other layers of Kimitech 350 mesh must be surmounted by at least 10 cm between them.
