Top kerb with laminated masonry
The laminated curb is an innovative system of structural reinforcement of masonry works and involves a stratification of brick elements with tensile-resistant reinforcement materials, placed in mortar beds. In this way, the compressive strength of the masonry is combined with the tensile strength of the composites. It is advisable to create vertical connections by inserting, through perforations, bars to avoid transverse sliding on the laying surface.
