Kimitech AD
Additive to improve the expansive properties and extend workability time
Kimitech AD is an one-component, curing, anti-shrinkage additive capable to retain humidity and create a bicomponent mortar with very good anti-shrinkage properties and a longer workability time. The product has no toxic components and therefore is not harmful for the user, even when used indoors in poorly ventilated environments.
Applications
Kimitech AD is ready-to-use product and it can be used as-is or adding the product to the mortar/concrete mix in combination with water. The product is very compatible with all the mortars from Betonfix range.
Application
It is used to mix mortars from the Betonfix range, so as to create two-component products with expansive properties. In case of air curing, characterized by a longer workability time at application temperatures above 20° C, the additive Kimitech AD can be added at a rate of 0.25% -1% by weight of the product. For applications at temperatures below 10 degrees, it is possible to use a lower dosage of Kimitech AD (50% reduction) in order to avoid excessive slow down in the hardening times.
