Restoration of lesions on wooden elements and anti-woodworm treatments
The procedure involves the restoration of lesions on wooden elements by injecting epoxy resin from the bottom upwards, into previously made holes. As the holes are saturated, the injection tubes are plugged to prevent excess resin from leaking out. The injectors must be blocked with a two-component thixotropic epoxy adhesive. The holes must be filled with the same product. The anti-woodworm treatment of wooden elements is carried out by applying a brush or low-pressure spray of a biocidal impregnator, after preparing the support and eliminating any parts that are detaching. The product must be applied to dry surfaces and is suitable for impregnating wood, guaranteeing an anti-blue fungus, anti-rot and anti-woodworm action.
