Kimitech EP-RG

The surfaces to be treated must be clean, degreased, free of inconsistent parts and wet, avoiding water stagnation. For the preparation of the anchoring mortar add cement (and any sand in the case of plastering) Kimitech EP-RG resin already mixed with water, respecting the following recommended ratios: - Anchoring mortar: Kimitech EP-RG 1 liter (1 Kg), Water 1 liter (1Kg), Cement 2.5 liters (4Kg). - Leveling mortar: 10% of the weight of the binder composing the mortar. In this way you will get a dense slurry which will be applied with a flat brush, scrub brush or spray, taking care to distribute it abundantly over the entire affected area. The leveling mortar must be applied when the product is in the plastic state, practically when the grout tends to become opaque due to the evaporation of the water. The mortar should never be applied when the grout has already hardened. On restoration works with a thickness lower than 15 mm, in addition to the bonding grout, add Kimitech EP-RG in the leveling mortar in a quantity of 10% on the weight of the binder (cement, lime or plaster). Kimitech EP-RG can be applied pure with a roller or a brush to pre-treat concrete surfaces for contact between old and new castings. The application must be carried out on dry and dust-free surfaces. Run the new casting in fresh or between 12-24 hours after the application of Kimitech EP-RG. If the new casting will be performed after 24 h, sprinkle some fresh quartz on the resin.
