Kimitech ACR
One-component acrylic resin to favour the adhesion in painting cycles with acrylic resins or laying ceramic tiles
Kimitech ACR is a single-component, deep-penetrating resin formulated to increase the mechanical performance of flaking substrates. On highly absorbent substrates, or in applications carried out during summer months, it also creates a protective insulation layer, preventing lime-based finishing coats or cement-based adhesives used with tiles from drying too quickly, and guaranteeing optimal hydration and effective adhesion.
Applications
It is used to standardize the absorption of existing plasters and as a preliminary treatment in laying lime-based or cementitious plasters, ceramic tiles, varnishing with acrylic or vinyl products (in the case of plaster and scagliola substrates, friable and powdery surfaces; highly absorbent substrates, works in high temperature environments)
Application
Clean the surfaces to be treated, remove grease and flaking parts. Substrates must cure for at least 28 days and the moisture content of gypsum plaster/ render coats must be less than 10%. Kimitech ACR is ready-to-use and a single continuous coat should be applied with a brush, roller or spray gun, making sure that the product is spread evenly across the entire surface. Wait for 30 minutes (at +20 °C) before applying furtjer coats. Do not use at temperatures below +2 °C or on surfaces in direct sunlight
