Recovery of existing plaster and consolidation by microinjections
It is possible to intervene on detached plasters by gluing and consolidating them, even frescoed ones, with manual injection, using suitable syringes, of a fluid mixture. The injection must be preceded by the creation of entry and exit holes, without invading the existing painted areas. The sealing of the holes must be done using the same product mixed with a less fluid consistency. In the presence of gaps in the plaster to be restored, it is a good idea to preliminarily fill the edges of the gap so as to re-establish the adhesion between the layer of plaster and the masonry and avoid harmful water infiltrations. The missing part of the plaster is restored with plaster compatible with the support and similar to the existing one in terms of thickness, composition and breathability. The intervention ends with the creation of the finish with stucco based on natural hydraulic lime.
