Aderflex KR

Aderflex KR is CE marked according to the UNI EN 12004 standard as a C2TE-S1 adhesive (improved deformable cementitious adhesive, with extended open time and zero vertical slip).

Perform the work on cementitious substrates that have been seasoned for at least 28 days. The product must be applied on compact, non-detached substrates, free from dust, grease, wax, old crumbly paint and any material that could compromise its good anchoring.
It is essential to treat the substrate with a coat of Kimitech ACR in the case of: gypsum and scagliola plasters, crumbly substrates, installation at high ambient temperatures (above 30°C), highly absorbent substrates.
Remove any old paint or adhesives by scraping or sandblasting.
To prepare the product, add the quantity of clean water indicated in the table and mix carefully with a drill at low speed (200-300 rpm) until a homogeneous, lump-free mixture is obtained. Leave the mixture to rest for 5 minutes, stirring briefly before spreading.
Apply the product using a spatula with the appropriate teeth, taking care to spread evenly in a thin layer first with the smooth part of the spatula and then go over it again with the toothed part.
For outdoor installation in general, for the installation of large format tiles or with dovetail teeth, a double spreading is essential, that is, apply the product both on the support and on the side of the tile. The tile must be positioned exclusively on fresh adhesive and never when the surface film has formed. Avoid applying the product at temperatures below + 2°C and on sunny surfaces. The treated area must be protected from washing away for the first 24 hours. Do not mix the product by adding water once it has started to set.
