The Papal Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli in Assisi is one of the largest and most visited religious buildings in the world. Inside it houses the famous Porziuncola of San Francesco, a small brick church famous for being one of his favorite places. The Basilica is currently undergoing a major structural consolidation project. In particular, Kimia technology uses Kimisteel INOX, the most resistant and durable FRCM structural reinforcement system in the world, as demonstrated by tests in ultra-aggressive environments carried out by the University of Roma Tre. Kimisteel INOX is used to consolidate the vaults and the enormous dome.
