Repointing mortar joints (premixed mortar or binders)
The intervention involves the grouting of the exposed facades using ready-to-use mortar based on natural hydraulic lime, or by applying a binder based on natural hydraulic lime mixed with washed sand and water. The intervention consists of a deep stripping of the mortar joints, cleaning the affected surface by washing with pressurized sprayed water and then grouting the joints, taking care not to dirty the stones. In the case of mortars prepared on site, the mixing water must be dosed to the minimum necessary, based on the humidity of the aggregates: any excess water reduces the final performance of the product.
