Reconstruction of portions of wooden elements or connection of prostheses
"The intervention consists in the reconstruction of damaged wooden ends or missing parts of wooden beams using epoxy castings, or in the total replacement of excessively damaged portions to be recovered. In the first case, to achieve it, it is necessary to excavate the extrados and prepare the formwork, insert the synthetic reinforcements in composite material and create the casting of epoxy resin loaded with quartz-based aggregates. In the second case, a special shaped prosthesis is prepared and connected to the existing one using pultruded carbon or glass fiber bars."
