Plastering and finishing with cement-free mortars
Realization of internal and/or external plasters with natural hydraulic lime mortar, totally free of cement, after creating a roughcast layer of about 5 mm thickness. Wait 1-2 days, wet the support to saturation and, when the surface is dry, apply the plaster mortar. The subsequent smoothing must be carried out once the plaster has completely cured. This last intervention involves the application of a spatula finish with natural hydraulic lime smoothing mortar, free of cement. In the case of large thicknesses and non-homogeneous or weak supports, it is advisable to insert a fiberglass mesh into the finish. Any final painting must be carried out once the surface is completely dry, using products permeable to vapor.
