Protection of stone materials

The intervention is aimed at preventing the penetration of water into the material, slowing down or inhibiting many degradation processes. The protectors can be applied with a low-pressure spray process or with a natural fiber brush and are able to adhere to the internal surfaces of the material by modifying the contact angle. In this way, sufficiently hydrophobic surfaces are created and water is prevented from entering the material. It is also possible to create a protection using a water-based protector that prevents vandal paints from penetrating deeply into the material, thus making it possible to remove graffiti with a simple jet of hot water.
