Asbestos cement encapsulation of “type A”, visible on the outside, and “type B”, visible on the inside
Type A encapsulation, visible from the outside, is carried out for example in the case of intervention on a non-accessible roof. Type B encapsulation, on the other hand, is applied to asbestos cement artefacts located in view on the inside. The intervention involves, in both cases, the spraying of consolidating resin with the function of making the asbestos cement compact, consolidating it in depth and facilitating the anchoring of the subsequent coating. The latter must be made with a single-component elastomeric resin applied in two coats.
