Consolidamento mediante iniezione miscele

Consolidation by injection of mixtures (even in the presence of frescoed surfaces)

The recovery of ancient rubble walls by injecting a mixture with high mechanical resistance and low content of water-soluble salts is an intervention that aims to fill the voids present inside them and restore the internal continuity of the cracked or disconnected material. The consolidating mixtures are fluid mortars based on natural hydraulic lime, capable of increasing the resistance of the walls without significantly changing the rigidity of the wall facing. The intervention involves the preparation of the holes, the insertion of injectors inside these and the subsequent injection of the mixture until the masonry is completely saturated. There are also grouts based on natural hydraulic lime free of water-soluble salts and free of cement for the recovery of even frescoed walls.

Features

  • High breathability
  • Compatibility with the original components of the masonry
  • Fluid mixture with high penetration power

Operational Phases

  1. Preparation of the substrate
  2. Preparation of the holes
  3. Sealing of the injection holes and internal washing of the masonry
  4. Injection of grout from the bottom to the top
