Kimicover products for the waterproofing of balconies, terraces and roofs
Waterproofing systems became easy and quick thanks to Kimicover products. The high performance of each liquid membrane makes it suitable in any place: bathrooms, small balconies, large terraces and roofs. There is no need to remove old tiled coatings or existing bituminous membranes.
Kimicover range includes cement, acrylic and polyurethane-based products:
Cement-based waterproofing solutions
Kimicover UNO is a cementitious waterproofing single-component liquid membrane. It is elastic and flexible, based on cements modified with special alkali-resistant polymers.Suitable for small surfaces.
Kimicover DUO is a waterproofing bi-component elastic cementitious system. It may be laid both vertically and horizontally. On the basis of mixing ratio it can be used on larger or smaller surfaces. Given distance between joints is <3 metres.
Kimicover GUAINA is an super elastic, waterproofing bi-component cementitious system. Easy and versatile, it develops a compact film with an excellent adhesion. It may be tiled or finished using Kimicover BLINDO exposed or walkable.

Acrylic-based waterproofing solutions
Kimicover LASTIC and Kimicover 501, are two single-component, liquid, acrylic-based membranes from Kimicover range. The high elasticity make them suitable for the waterproofing of occasionally walkable exposed roofs.
Kimicover LASTIC is an aqueous dispersion single-component liquid membrane made of acrylic elastomers. It is used to waterproof substrate coatings, good adhesion on concrete, bricks, fibre-cement, expanded polyurethane, wood and cementitious plasters. Kimicover 501, thanks to its higher adhesion and elasticity, allow the application on any kind of roof (new or to be restored), even in case of existing bituminous membrane.
Long lasting solutions thanks to "UV Cross Linking" (sun light makes them more resistant instead of damaging).
A polyurethane-based solution: Kimicover 601P
Kimicover 601P is polyurethane single-component liquid membrane with high elasticity and performance. As a result:

Kimicover 601P is also able to reflect solar radiation. This feature makes it useful for "cool roof" roofing, avoiding the heating of surfaces exposed to the sun rays and reduce the "heat island" effect (urban overheating). An aspect of great importance, if you take into consideration the fact that the roofs made with bituminous membranes of dark color tend to increase the absorption of heat and in summer to reach extremely high temperatures.
