Kimicover K80
Low viscosity polymeric latex, with biocidal action, for encapsulations
Kimicover K80 is an acrylic resin in aqueous dispersion specific for impregnation and consolidation coatings of type D "auxiliary for the removal" according to the D.M. 20 August 1999. The product has a biocidal action and consolidates by deeply impregnating the asbestoscontaining products to support removal and disposal operations.
Applications
Kimicover K80 is used as a type D auxiliary encapsulating coating to block the dispersion of free asbestos fibers. It has to be sprayed with an airless pump. It hardens quickly forming a film of remarkable waterproof blue thickness. The product prevents the detachment of the fibers ensuring the operators the necessary security required by law during all removal operations.
Application
The product is ready to use and must be applied by spray with an airless pump on the asbestos cement slabs to be removed, respecting the consumption indicated on the data sheet.
