CE adhesives and markings: a summary

The norm EN 12004 issued by ECN (European Committee of Normalization) classifies the adhesives for ceramic and for stone materials. The minimum requirements of the product and the test methods are listed in the norm and it also classifies them according to the verified performances.
In the table related to each product of the technical dossier you can find out the definition for each certification's code, as well as checking with which certified performance characteristics they are related and, therefore, choose the most suitable product for the requested uses. The symbol associated to an adhesive allows to facilitate the
choice, based on the kind of application, indeed the table contains:
